PVJOBS PHILOSOPHY

We believe the path to client recovery and self-sufficiency requires personal commitment, having marketable skills and earning a living wage. To help accomplish this, PVJOBS provides a job-opportunity referral program that links at-risk individuals receiving supportive services from local community-based organizations with jobs in construction-related trades and other employment. Pre-Apprenticeship Training

PVJOBS offers Pre-Apprenticeship Training programs for those wishing to either: 1) Enter the construction industry at an entry level (Construction 101); 2)  Interested in the Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing construction trades but don't have strong math skills(Tech Math). The Construction 101 classes are a three week long program that require an attendance commitment of 9 am - 2 pm Monday - Friday. The Tech Math course is an eight week long program that is held from 9 am - 2 pm on eight Saturdays.
